Yeats wrote prose throughout his life. This selection
contains some of his autobiographical writings about
life in the west of Ireland, in London, in Dublin,
and among magicians, mediums, seers and poets. It
also includes letters - to his father, Lady Gregory
and Olivia Shakespear among others - stories,
speeches, essays, and a part of A Vision the
importance of which in his work is becoming
increasingly recognised.
