Einmal gelesen, steht allerdings schon seit über 20 Jahren bei mir im Regal. Zwei kleine Knicke im Deckblatt, ansonsten gut erhalten.
Artikelbeschreibung
2:1-TAUSCH!!!
This is an epic tale of brilliant engineers and scientists imprisoned by the Soviets in a work camp. However, it is not an ordinary work camp. Instead of the daily, torturous cold that Ivan Denisovich faces in another of Solzhenitsyn's novels, the prisoners face a subtler cruelty: they cannot return home to their families until they invent certain "tools" for the Soviets to use against alleged (and probably innocent) spies and turncoats who would in turn be imprisoned themselves... Absolutely captivating!
