Twang guitar god. Hard to catagorize. Some Jesus and Mary Chain, some links to Velvet Underground, brit pop from the 60s almost country/bluegrass/folk feelings. Kurt seems to have matured with this one. Everything came together. Kurt is smart enough to lay back sometimes and let his musicians show what they can do and they can do it. Excellent mix/recording. Headphone stuff. Listen loud and hear what intelligent rock musicians can do. Twang sonic wonderland. As others have said WAY UNDER RATED.
